Do not operate your vessel without a CPS Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC)! Since September 15, 2009, all Canadian operators of a motorized pleasure craft have to show proof of competency. Prepare for the test. Order your copy of the Boating Handbook and find a seminar or exam session near you.

VHF Radio Operator Training

Does everyone on board know how to call for help? The Marine Radio Course provides you with training on emergency radio procedures along with everyday operating techniques. Learn in the classroom or online. Boaters who already have their certificate may upgrade to include the new DSC endorsement.

Do you have all the safety equipment you legally need aboard your boat? Be prepared for an inspection by the police Marine Unit or the Canadian Coast Guard. CPS, working in partnership with the Transport Canada Office of Boating Safety, will help ensure that you and your family have an enjoyable and safe summer on the water.
